Guests flying in have a few convenient choices:
Albany International Airport (ALB)
Approx. 50 minutes from the venue
This is the closest and easiest airport. Most major car rental agencies are onsite, and the drive is straightforward.New York Stewart International Airport (SWF)
Approx. 1 hour 15 minutes from the venue
A smaller, easy-to-navigate airport with rental cars available.New York City Airports — JFK, LaGuardia (LGA), and Newark (EWR)
2.5–3 hours from the venue
These offer the most flight options (often at better prices), but plan for extra travel time to get out of the city and on the road. -
Round Top and the surrounding Catskills are beautiful but rural — meaning renting a car is the most reliable way to travel and give you the most flexibility to explore the area while you’re in town.
Car Rental:
All major airports listed above have car rental services. We strongly recommend renting in advance, especially if you’re flying into a smaller airport.Amtrak Station (Hudson):
Approx. 30–35 minutes from the venue
Amtrak is absolutely an option if you're coming from New York City (Penn Station) or Albany-Rensselaer. The station is small, easy to navigate, and has several daily trains. Please note that you’ll need to arrange a taxi from the station to the venue, as rideshares are extremely limited locally.
Rideshare:
Uber and Lyft are very limited once you’re outside Albany. We do not recommend relying on rideshare to reach the venue or return to your hotel.Local Taxi Services:
These local cab companies service the Hudson and Catskills area. We recommend calling ahead to schedule pickup times, especially for arrival and departure.Pronto Taxi – (518) 828-5060
Hudson City Taxi – (518) 822-8880
Muskrat Taxi – (518) 965-9622
Catskill Cab Co. – (518) 943-1212 -
The Winter Clove Inn is located at:

The property is well-marked, but cell service can be spotty in some areas — download your directions ahead of time if possible. -
We are happy to have found a resort for our wedding that is child-friendly, leaving the decision of bringing your kids up to you!
Children are more than welcome at our entire wedding celebration, and we would love to see your whole family, but we won’t take it personally if you decide to leave the kids at home. Below are some details to help families plan for the occasion.
Children are welcome for as long as they last at our wedding. When it’s time for bed, we’ve assigned all friends with young children a room on the second or third floor of the main house, where wedding activities will be taking place on the first floor. The Winter Clove Inn is a fully wood-built structure, and baby monitors work throughout the Main House. We’ve been advised by staff that it is common practice for parents to put their kids down and return to the celebration, baby monitors in tow. We hear Tim, the long-time bartender, ends up with more than a few monitors on his bar at the annual New Year’s Eve celebrations.
We also have contact information for local sitters, and if needed, are happy to help make arrangements for a sitter to hang with the little ones once they go down. Just let us know!
If you’d like to travel with your kids and bring along your nanny or other family member to watch them during the wedding, please check in with Ry and Georgina before booking any additional rooms at the Winter Clove or Crystal Brook, as we’re cutting it close! There are many other accommodations in the area for extra guests if needed. We’re happy to help figure it out!
-
Unlike kids, pets are unfortunately not allowed at the Winter Clove Inn to stay.
While Bella, Reddy, and Lindy may make a quick appearance outdoors, all other dogs need to stay home for the weekend.
-
All names of those invited in your party are listed on your invitation and in your RSVP portal.
Due to space limitations, we’re unable to give everyone a +1, so we've reserved any extra space for guests who may not know as many people attending the wedding as others.
We love you all so much and, as much as possible, want to keep the wedding to those we know intimately, while also giving folks who may be traveling alone the opportunity to bring a date for the celebrations. Please let me know if you have any questions.
